Sew-La-Tea Photos

Just a few photos from the Mountain Laurel Quilt Guild's Sew-La-Tea held last Saturday. There were many lovely quilts displayed and lots of friendly conversation with other quilters.

The closeups at the top of the post are of quilts made by the "founding mothers" of our guild -- Mary Jane's is the red applique and Madalene's is the Celtic knotwork.

  1. Beautiful quilts and they look so lovely draped over the pews. Thank you for sharing.

  2. Mary Jane...I knew in an instant it had to be your quilt posted here. It is beautiful and I am sure the quality it fantastic. I thought the idea of displaying over church pews was a great idea. Kelly keeps us posted on your endeavors together. I'm quilting in Pittsburgh and have rejoined my quilt group. You might want to visit their web page at I told Kelly you and she should plan on coming out to our next show in April. I have room at my apartment for you both. Coming East in a week to visit my sister (Kelly's MIL). Linda
