Speedy Arrowhead Quilt

At our guild mini-retreat on January 25, Bonnie taught us how to make these arrowhead blocks.  Two weeks and a few hours later, I put the last stitches in the binding of this quilt!  It's a world speed record for me.  I'm a quilter who usually finishes one stage of quilt construction and then puts it away to percolate for a few weeks or months.  This time I decided to be like my friend Barbara, who finishes what she starts and has no UFO's!
All these brown and earth done batiks and the backing came from my stash.  I had to buy the brown sashing and binding fabric, but I used at least 8 yards of fabric from my stash.  Not that you would notice a gap!
It's not my usual bright palette, but it's warm and rich in tone, and, best of all, it's finished!
