In the past I posted other interchangeable parts that go with this Changing Seasons Welcome Banner. Here is the Santa face to use in the Christmas holiday season. The pattern/kit is from Cotton Ginnys.
This 14" x 14" seasonal piece was a fun pattern I bought at Quilting Around Chautaugua in September, one of the best quilt weekends around. It's a great place to shop lots of quilting vendors and find seasonal projects like this one published by Briarwood Cottage from Idaho Falls, Idaho. I used my scraps to duplicate similar colors to those on the pattern cover.
Time to take down the pumpkin and bring out the Thanksgiving turkey. This is another mini flag from Wee Ones, from Plays With Wool. I chose to eliminate the word "Thanks" they had at the bottom of the flag and gave the turkey feet instead.
Who are we? Just a group of stitching friends in the north-central Pennsylvania mountains. We love to quilt, sew, knit, embroider, and just about anything else that involves a needle and thread. Please feel free to comment on our posts. We'd love to know who visits our blog.
