My log cabin quilt is a wall hanging I made at a workshop in 2003. The instructor was Wendy Etzel and she taught us how to construct the log cabin building and then we were on our own to design the setting for the background. A separate mini quilt was made in the log cabin style and hangs from a clothesline. I recently found a book of her designs from the year 2000 and I think I will attempt another one of her projects that I never got around to doing when I first bought the book.
Who are we? Just a group of stitching friends in the north-central Pennsylvania mountains. We love to quilt, sew, knit, embroider, and just about anything else that involves a needle and thread. Please feel free to comment on our posts. We'd love to know who visits our blog.
