Moda Fabrics ran a sampler block shuffle from November 2015 to January 2016 where they released 3 blocks weekly for 10 weeks. Each block was designed by a different quilt teacher or quilt designer. I chose to make my blocks from a bundle of coordinated blacks, greys and whites with a few other fabrics thrown in. I made 15 more blocks than the original 30, using the same blocks in different color combinations or placements, which were also provided on the patterns. The finished quilt is twin size, specifically designed for a daybed.
Who are we? Just a group of stitching friends in the north-central Pennsylvania mountains. We love to quilt, sew, knit, embroider, and just about anything else that involves a needle and thread. Please feel free to comment on our posts. We'd love to know who visits our blog.
